Link to the creation guide “Description of the action”: ec.europa.eu/research/participants/data/ref/h2020/grants_manual/gap/doa/h2020-doa-ria-ia-csa_en.pdf The following link to the signing of the contract (“Grant Signature”) also contains information on the topic “Digital Signature”: ec.europa.eu/research/participants/docs/h2020-funding-guide/grants/from-evaluation-to-grant-signature/grant-signature_en.htm If a proposal has been successfully evaluated and Principal Investigator accepts ERC Grant, REB prepares an application-based grant agreement. This grant agreement offers little room for adaptation. As a general rule, the agreement is not negotiable. A template is available on this link: erc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/document/file/h2020-erc-suppl-aggr_en_v1.3.docx link in the eu eu funding & Tenders Portal: ec.europa.eu/research/participants/docs/h2020-funding-guide/cross-cutting-issues/ethics_en.htm For current developments. with regard to the participation of UK bodies, the ERC refers to the following information from the Commission`s funding and tender portal: ec.europa.eu/research/participants/docs/h2020-funding-guide/grants/applying-for-funding/find-partners_en.htm Other features of the ERC Grant Agreement concern the possibility for the Principal Investigator to change host institution (Portability of Grants) and the provisions relating to the obligation for the main investor to invest in the project (time). In addition, the agreement contains specific clauses in the event of early termination of the project for scientific reasons or unavailability of the Principal Investigator. The agreement as a whole and its provisions are not negotiable. Only elements important for financial and contractual management, such as reporting periods and the amount of pre-financing, can be negotiated to adapt to the specific administrative context of each project. Documents already available (for example. B the authorisation to carry out experiments) do not yet have to be downloaded when the application is submitted. The Ethics Self Assessment must describe the documents that can be submitted at a later date. If the funding project is recommended, a separate ethical review will be conducted, for which the corresponding documents will then have to be submitted at a later date.
